There were some handy features mentioned with channel lists chosen with face recognition software. @Lord Flashheart: Pointless comments? Don't you think commenting the people who comment what is said in the OP is more pointless? I thought the guy interviewed was talking about integrating games consoles and internet. This same company also happens to segregate its console and internet with the lack of webbrowser. |
You think xoj and his usual bs against MS is not pointless?
Or your first comment? I can't think of a more stupid example of irony than you gave. And yes that includes Alanis Morisette. So for a console manufacturer to be allowed to talk about the internet with consoles the console should have a browser? the fact that they made online gaming a standard with live which needs the internet is lost on you? or that it has the most successful console internet service around new to you? Just how do you play online with your consoles without the intenet?
Oh I see you only have ninty consoles. Nevermind that last comment about playing online.
MS has segreagted what?
om Wiki
"The terms Internet and World Wide Web are often used in everyday speech without much distinction. However, the Internet and the World Wide Web are not one and the same. The Internet is a global data communications system. It is a hardware and software infrastructure that provides connectivity between computers. In contrast, the Web is one of the services communicated via the Internet. It is a collection of interconnected documents and other resources, linked by hyperlinks and URLs.[1]"
Here's the quote
"I don't believe we are currently in the golden age of the television or the golden age of the game console or the golden age of the Internet; frankly, five years from now I don't know that you'll be able to tell the difference between those worlds,"
So where's the irony and segregation from the internet? They haven't segregated anyone from the internet without giving a browser, You can still use it. like I said a pointless comment from you. He also says in the future.
Are we in the future yet? Nope so there's still chance to put a browser in their consoles.
A bit pointless if you ask me as my Wii browser lost my interest very early on and both the wii and PS3 browser are restricted in what codecs you can use, they are slow and cumbersome to use compaired to the PC so until they can match the ease of using the PC i'd rather do without and have services like facebook(eurgh) intergrated into the console itself than use a tacked on browser just there to make their stats look impressive against their rivals.
And finally you don't think MS are allowed to talk about the future of the internet or browsers when their browser is the most used in the world?
@Patapon is something new and different that scary to you?
or is it because sony didn't come up with it the reason you don't like it? oh and it was sony that sacrificed a goat to promote God of War 2. Which proves my point about you only liking it if sony does it.
