Would developers give a Wii HD the games they denied the Wii so far?

I don't know if someone mentionned the PS1 gen, but the nintendo 64 was more powerful, and had better sales than the gamecube. OK, the cartridge scared the developpers, but did they bring support to the N64? I don't think so. Third paries are asking for big money to make big games, that's it. Not power

edit: I consider Rare as a second party at this time.
