It's amazing. Rare is still a good developer, no question, but to think there was a point where people considered them a competitor to Nintendo in terms of software quality, and then to look today, the difference is astonishing.
Again, Rare is still good. But seriously, think about Rare today, and Nintendo today. Can you imagine that a decade ago, these two companies were producing quality titles at a comparable rate? Nintendo has produced something like 30 million selling titles in the last 3 years; Rare has provided one, Perfect Dark Zero.
