Wii: 180k -> 343k (almost 100% increase)
x360: 65k -> 135k (100% increase)
ps3: 130k -> 190k (less, than 50% increase)

Who can explain that?

Don't know. Regardless the sales margin is still respectable.

I can only speak for the UK but there were stuff like a years free Live subscription with 360s sold and I saw quite a few unofficial bundles going around last week at various stores. Some pretty good deals in my opinion.

I have never seen so many x360 ads in my life and the SKY thingy is being pushed (in UK)

Maybe the mainland had something similar.

I suppose you can turn that around and ask: What happened? x360 only outsold PS3 by 8,000 this week in NA. NA is x360 land.
