I'm a bit of a Bow + MC hybrid myself, I tend to use a lot of the Lava Bow xD
Yeah, Brushwood is very heavy indeed, that's why i'm investing on both Vitality and Endurance, so I can wear it with a bit of more speed in my character (Also ring of herculean Strenght helps).
I'm of to play NG+ then, I'll try to survive until phalanx (have 200K + souls to mantain x_X)
