I really don't think next gen specs will matter much. Consoles will all be powerfull enough for HD gaming (1080), and nice graphics as current tech enables that for a price below 250$
What really matters is the controller redesign.
I really hope they improve the wiimote in a more hand friendly manner... As the pas nintendo controlers it'll keep the casual friendly large A button and the Trigger, but they should add buttons that are more easely reachable (VC sales will not be the same strenght next gen so no need or the NES controler...).
And I hate the size of the nunchuck, too small and too simple, it's for games that are not casual friendly (use just the wiimote for that) so they should improve it greatly.
