the Power 7 Chips look GOD LIKE to be honest more than good enough for a console as long as sony go for a damn good GPU so DEVs don't need to use the CPU for rendering. but it looks like backwards compatibility will be out the window at least for the PS3, PS2 emulation may be possible tho
