Puzzle Adventure games are not a big selling genre now either.
"No More Heroes"
Did you even pay attention to the developer's past record. This is a STEP UP from his last games. It's getting a freakin' sequel.
You haven't brought up games that would sell loads. Three are niche games, and the other didn't have loads of marketing.
Monster Hunter 3 was part of a hit series, and it had marketing. Guess what? It sold a million.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
