Also, to game veterans like Khuutra and noname:

I'd love for you guys to explain how to walk the path of righteousness in Ogre Battle 64 so I won't get cast off and shunned like a bloody conquerer at the end of the game. The two times I finished it, I got ZERO Chaos Frame. I believe it has something to do with liberating towns instead of capturing - which is based on unit alignment. I never played it a third time due to my N64 controllers going missing years ago.

Kasz pretty much summed it all up. The only thing I would add is that your story-related decisions don't seem to affect your Chaos Frame much, if at all, anymore.

This is true with one or two major exceptions - one of which, my first time through, smashed me down to a very low Chaos Frame, if I remember.

Play to protect your countrymen more than you're trying to kill the enemy. There is one story-branching part which determines the direction of the plot for like ten missions, and that decision, if I remember, is pivotal.
