"They're trying not to do what they did to the GC; making TOO many first and second party titles. Developers were so scared to bring anything great to the cube, thinking they could easily get overshadowed by the success of nintendos. Now people are saying thay want more quality titles from them which in my opinion is contradicting what they were saying 5 years ago."
When you get contradictory reasons, then those are just excuses.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
