baaah humbug. having said that i think logic forces me to agree. microsoft is very good at building hype and they are getting TONS of help from the media. When natal rolls around and has even one remotely (no pun intended) decent looking game at launch people will gobble it up, and while it may not sell to current xbox owners stacks of people will buy it as its "revolutionary" (imo it's a glorified pseye). id even venture to say 1-2 mil first week.(now being a sony fan i just want to say something about the wand. i think it may initaly have weak sales but only because of poor marketing[however as current marketing is improving we may be suprised but i feel the mainstream will view it as a wii rip-off even though its way better] however it will have good legs as it is an impressive piece of harware and word of mouth, good software reviews, and a strong first party lineup will drive sales[speculation but sony DOES have a great first party].) back on topic, however, i had believed ps3 would overcome 360 by jan 1st 2011(12[side point irrelivent;please ignore]) with the gap being reduced to 5 mil by jan 1st 2010, however i relise now that with the combined market of "hardcore" gamers for current 360 hardware and games as well as the new "casual" market from natal then the ps3 wont stand a chance and natal along with classic 360 may even be in a position to start gaining on wii. the only way this wont happen is if natal flops but it wont as the average consumer is a slave to the hype machine. and if microsoft is any kind of smart they'd release a blue-ray addon next year (anounced at e3 2010 to be released by christmas) and screw sony as it shows the average consumer "see? xbox does blue-ray too!". man logic sucks......FUCK! ** I really hope im wrong about this ** again
