That what I'm thinking too. 15 years Nintendo has been left behind its competitors. 15 long years where Nintendo, alone, was trying to deliver great stuff for their remaining fans. 15 years has passed and now, Nintendo is still trying to deliver great softwares.
Now it is time to show that it's the quality of the gameplay that is the most important. For 15 long years in the dark, it's now time to Nintendo to succeed. I'm really glad the Wii succeed like this, because Nintendo deserves the title of being the only company that is able to deal with two consoles, softwares, unsupportive third editors, second editors and R&D.
I agree with you. Third editors are such a pain sometimes that I'm only looking for Nintendo games. Of course, they are great titles like Little King Story, Dead Space Extraction... But all is important nowadays is money. Too bad Nintendo if our sales are very low, even if we're not doing any publicity.
I will respect Sony and Microsoft the day they will respect the leader of the gaming market: Nintendo. I heard Reggie say that Modern Warfare 2 was a great title... You know what? I hear people say Wii is a stupid and lazy console, with lack of great softwares. I heard Microsoft say that Nintendo should stay only a third party and abandon the Wii and DS. :'(
I'm really glad you shared your point with us, because it is something I believe too. I had much more fun on New Super Mario Bros Wii than on Little Big Planet. My cousin, who owns a PS3, had more fun. You know what? Little Big Planet is 95 and Mario 86. Because of what? No HD, no online, no level creator... What Little Big Planet did was only to bring at last one of those rare platforming games on the PS3.
But be confident, Nintendo doesn't care about those reviewers. They need to respect Nintendo once and for all. They said Miyamoto should retreat!
@leatherhat
Then, you should not play Mario Galaxy or New Super Mario Bros Wii, because you can't consider those excellent core title. Or maybe Metroid, if you're a FPS fan?
@ psrock
Ocarina of Time is the best game of all time and I doubt it was overbudget.
Actually, games that are made for money (like Activision) don't deserve my respect. I had more fun playing Corruption than Modern Warfare 2.
And remember, only your own experience is what defines a game. You abandoned Nintendo with the GameCube, even with the 64, now endure casual games that are destinated to a much more grateful public.
