Windows 7 sales - good / bad?

As of January 2009, there are articles saying Mac has about a 8% market share. Which is actually down from previous years.

2009 has been a big year for Microsoft. They were constantly running ads about PCs being cheaper, Windows 7 was released, netbooks have been very successful, and the recession has hurt Mac sales. I can only assume this has all had a negative impact for Apple.

There was basically no negative review for Windows 7 so I could think that the marketshare for mac might be down even more in the upcoming months. My father is using W7 now and he totally loves it. he skipped vista though.
