If it's so hard to predict what they want, then why doesn't Nintendo have any troubles. Perhaps it's because they actually TRY to develop good games instead of rushing garbage to the market. It's pretty easy to predict what Wii owners want: Quality Software. Third parties that are trying to make successful franchises on the Wii out of crappy releases and terrible featureless ports are doomed to failure.
Most games that have good legs aren't 3rd party but are Nintendo ip's and those never drop in price. Why should they? They're actually worth $50.
