Story wise, there have been few to hold up to the magic of OOT, graphic wise, it was great for what the N64 was capable of. What would shut everyone up is if OOT was redone for the next Nintendo system in HD and 5.1 Dolby Digital.

What was it about the story in OoT that made it better or somehow stand out compared to Wind Waker och Twilight Princess?

I'd have to say the combination of the before/after effects, the way the time travel played a huge part in the development of the story. Of course, the gameplay was a major part too, where things done as young link affected the world where old Link travelled. Wind Waker seemed... rushed for a story, didnt get interesting until you find out that old Hyrule was underwater. Twilight Princess was well done too, I call it the true successor to OOT.

ok, personaly i think all the zelda storys are pretty meh, never really picked up a zelda and "man, that was a good story/ had got plot". i come for the gameplay

but i guess everyones different
