Man, all of them would. I remember playing "Bee Movie" on the 360. I thought to myself, "If Mario looked this good......."

Gameplay is always a priority, but the sense of impending doom in a Legend of Zelda dark world, the sense of awe in a Metroid overworld, the feeling of intensity in a Starfox game, or the water effects in a new Wave Race -the experience would be so much more immersive.

Not to mention what the folks at Nintendo could do with some awesome physics systems. I bet there would be some pretty amazing things going on with that wrecking ball in Twilight Princess if the Wii had some HD horsepower backing it up.

You have a point, but you're ignoring certain things.

Making a game 1080p raises the price and development time. the only way that games like Fire Emblem can be made is because they have low development costs. If they were proper HD with good graphics, as described in the Op then the next game would be delayed 2 years and would be very unprofitable.

Still using Bee Movie as an example, it was a surprisingly good game.  It looked great in HD and it came out in a decent time frame for all consoles. It would probably cost Nintendo more money to optimize their product though, I agree.  But from a gamer's point of view, I'd be in heaven!
