The reason there is so much furor over L4D2 is Valve themselves. They made so many promises for additional content for L4D1 and then they release a sequel that has all of the things they were promising for L4D1. I never really go into L4D but the reason there is so much backlash is because Valve pulled a Peter Molyneux. If they had never made the promises about additional content for L4D1 they wouldn't be dealing with all this furor.
