I think the DS can reach 40 million in Japan alone when all is said and done.  It's pretty amazing, really.

That would be VERY big...probably too big.

It would need at least 2-3 years selling at 60-70k weekly, and that IMHO is impossible for many reasons, one of which is the new Nintendo's Handheld (even if it has the DS name in it, if it's a new hardware ).

33-34m or even 35m seems a more probable end for DS numbers.
