^Sure next time around, but that would be years off, right now, they have no real reason to move to a new console, graphics aren't a reason, as we can see from sales, no it has to be something more, something like the reason they moved from GCN to Wii

Yea I agree, if graphics is the sole reason for a new console, they would have come out with a new Wii sku already.

They're going to because of investor pressure. Next year.

From the talks some people are having right now I don't think it would even be native 720p but just upscaling to 720p. The price for sure would be much higher too.

If NSMBW fails to deliver on what they want, you're gonna see something. It's gonna be a little greedy, though.

Investor pressure to do the losing money thing? Specs don't help stock prices.

Yes specs do help stock prices at least temporarily. Remember when the PS3 specs were unvieled Sony stock sky rocketed and everyone thought PS3 was going to be a massive success. Sure that stock soon dropped as the PS3 bombed but specs definatly played a role in the initial hieght.

Next generation specs will definatly play a major role in stock success. If Nintendo doesn't offer a radically new controller and doesn't offer competitive graphics specs then stock holders will worry. After all stock analysts have been booing Nintendo since the Wii started. Just look at Michael Patcher.

You're actually trusting that guy's word? And he's just one analyst, not most of them. He doesn't even advise Nintendo stockholders. He's a general stockholder making predictions about gaming.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
