If people make ridiculous predictions (or any predictions for that matter) you can obviously reply to those. But why not immediately point out where they're wrong? If you really need to wait until actual data becomes available than maybe their predictions weren't that ludicrous after all.
But in this case we're not just talking about pointing out someone is wrong. He puts those predictions in his sign and that way he is constantly mocking them. I'm actually surprised mods are allowing this.
