I was also gonna buy a PS3 this year along with MLB 09 The Show, Rachet and Clank, LBP, and Uncharted, but decided to opt for an HD TV instead.. There are just too many games I want to play this year that I'm already way behind on. Maybe for christmas though, or next year during the usual dry period for games would be a good time to finally get one.
