Why don't you give us some examples which of the games, that you have played, have a good story? It would really help us if we knew what you define as a good story, so that we could recommend you a Nintendo game you should try out.

If it isn't too much work for you, you could also tell us which Nintendo games you have played and why you didn't like them.

And we are still waiting for a list of movies (based on videogames) with a good story.

Sure.  The last game I played Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer had a good story.  The next game I'll be playing, Mass Effect, the story will be just as important to me as the gameplay so hopefully it has a good one.

Some of the Nintendo games I've played that didn't appeal to me include:

Zelda:OOT - It felt like one fetch quest after another (go to dungeon x and get item y, go to next dungeon and repeat).  The story bored me to death and had a been there done that feel to it.  I gave up on it after I reached some fortress in the desert in which I had to use stealth, I couldn't force myself to continue.

Super Mario 64 - I put it in and played for about an hour and that was the last I ever played of it.  It just felt like the same old Mario game just in 3d.

Mario Kart: Double Dash - My girlfriend at the time *loved* this game, I was bored of it within an hour of playing it.  The only reason I played it more than that was because she enjoyed the game.

Pilotwings 64 - I was bored of that game in about 30 minutes, I couldn't get into it at all.

One game I'd really like to try though is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem although it's just published by Nintendo and is nothing like their in-house games.  I think though that I'd really enjoy it.
