Yeah because the price was extreme in the beginning it had even the same selling speed like PS1 and 2 but the price slowed down it extremly. And the gap is not becoming wider by a bigger margin then the 40%. The sales have to decline but they are getting even bigger. It growed because there was no pricecut. You wont be able to deny the fact that the PS3 market position is not the same as it was 1 year ago. It has changed and you will see this very soon.

Ofcourse the gap was getting bigger between PS3 and PS2. Thats nothing special thr gap has to be in the End around 60 Million consoles because the PS3 would be 40% down. If it were not growing the PS3 would be just 20 Million under the PS2 in the End the gap has to grow until its 60 Million.

And if you look you will see that the PS3 even picked up steam so the gap is not growing as quick as it once was. But ofcourse the Gap HAS to grow so the PS3 can be down by a big number.

The PS3 numbers are irrelevant after that numbers the PS3 would have around 85 Million LTD. The sales gap would be 55 Million.
