Regarding Punch out, that was pure fanservice and all the commercal I saw were also fan service.
for fanservice the diminishing returns should not be taken into account as you basically do it to please the faithfull customer... so the more the happier.
But like many, I'm just glad they did released a punch out whatever the number of fighters there are =)
now if only they could find a way to bring pit in his own game (and make it work after 20 years) that would be awsome fanservice :p
