Acording to you pokemon red/green/blue/yellow, gold/silver/crystal, ruby/sapphire/emerald and diamond/pearl/platinum should be counted as the same game (the games from the same generation not all the games).

Red and Blue = Pretty much the same game with minute differences. Yellow= Different game. Same thing goes for the other generations.
