Zelda is already steampunk. Some of the technology in some of the games, most notably Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, is that you would find in the 19th century, of which is generally what is considered steampunk(think trains).

Oh, then my meaning must be misconstrued. I meant like FF7 with the guns, swords, sunglasses and the emo Clouds on motorcycles.
