Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, old Nintendo franchises (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), any yearly sports series, etc.

Then theres games that are really close to becoming overdone (even though they still sell well) like Ratchet & Clank, Skate, Halo, GTA, etc.

I would have included Gran Turismo but they only come out every couple years usually and there hasn't been one yet this gen. There's been 3 Halo's and another coming 2010 so far this gen.

Im sorry but can you at least explain to me how zelda is milked, overdue and over saturated........... also it sells well too......

According to wikipedia there's been 14 Zelda games in the main series, 11 Zelda spinoffs, and 6 remakes, that's how. I'm not saying they aren't great or don't sell well, so don't get all upset with me. Any franchise that has this many games in it I'd have to consider milked.

I based my list off of number of games/frequency of games coming out, not quality of the games.

And that's just not really what milked means.  It might be your definition, but that doesn't make it right.  For instance, I could call my table a book but that wouldn't actually make it a book.

When someone says something is being milked or oversaturated, that generally means games that have a lot of sequels within a small amount of time with little to no significant changes.  The Guitar Hero franchise could not be a better example.  Instead of the 30-ish Zelda games in the nearly 30 years of its existance, you have 20-ish Guitar Hero games in the lats five years.

A not so extreme example?  Starcraft II.  You have what should be one game split into three games so they can get more money out of it.
