If the PSP can sell 60 million, so can the PS3.

The PSP has always had a higher trend line than the PS3

The psp will be at 75 million by the time it's done though, so the PS3 will be at 60 million easily/

  That's only if the PS3 can maintain its current sales rate, which it won't even at its current rate it'll be over 2 and a half years to get to 60 million, and it won't keep that pace for that long

It's at $299, I assume you think it will sell worst at $199, you are bad at predicting dude, just terrible.

Its not like its going to be at $199 while the 360 will be at $299, you do realize that MS will probably start price cutting heavily over the next two years, since they can afford it and Sony can't?  360 will probably get below $200 and possibly even $150 before PS3 can, not to mention at that point, people will be anticipating the PS4 and 720, which will also cut into the sales for the PS3 and 360.

The 360 already sells for $199, and consoles dont kill each other. The PSP still sells even when the DS  destroy it.

FACT : ps3 will sell more next year than this year.

 

360 Arcade sells for 199, not elite, and interestingly we may have seen hints of MS planning cuts on both arcade and Elite with the recent offers.

DS and PSP have very different libraries, so they can coexist much easier, 360 and PS3 are much more similar in games, so the competition in that red ocean is stronger.

PS3 may sell more next year, but will it sell more the year after, because if it doesn't it isn't getting to 60 million
