Wii is not two colors to all colors. Wii still has all the tools, just not on the scale. So it is still talent. Mediocre developers are still making mediocre games this gen, just that the cost more. Great developers are still making great games, but the past games didn't stop being great now.
It's the talent they had.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
