A qubit is a "quantum bit". A regular bit can only exist as '1' or '0' at any given time. A Qubit can exist as '1', '0', both, or neither at the same time.
It means that the processes that can be done are risen exponentially. It is a great advantage over regular bits.
Or did I just explain something you know and Bill Cosby actually made a reference to Qubits? lol
