^^ Nintendo can be done with a game whenever they want to be done with the game in most cases. You don't think they were holding off on New Super Mario Bros. Wii to release it? I don't think Nintendo are like Sony or Microsoft, where their first party titles go gold 2 weeks before release date. They try to make sure their releases come out on time.

^ I'm expecting some NPC games as well. I'm actually expecting them to announce more NPC games over the next few months (Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Donkey Konga, etc.)

Oh sure.  I should clarify, I don't think Galaxy 2 going next summer is an R&D issue, it's a scheduling issue.  Nintendo has Pokemon for their big March title, they won't double up with Galaxy as well.

I think we'll see Galaxy 2 and Friend Connection next summer as Nintendo's big games.  Then Other M and maybe Zelda in the fall/holidays.  I expect a big Nintendo push for MH3 and DQIX next year too.

As far as NPC, I don't think they did as well as expected and really, they seemed more like a stopgap solution to cover Nintendo weak late 2008/early 2009 schedule.  I don't really see us getting any more except maybe the already finished games (Pikmin 2, Chibirobo) and even those I'm not 100% on.  I hope to see Pikmin 2 at least since it's already 100% localized.
