Yeah, there are items that only enemies drop like some of the rare stones you need to upgrade your weapons.

But like I said the chance that they drop anything isn't much higher with a better luck stat, it's more the amount of the dropped item if they drop anything . So, you'll regret it if you invest too much in the luck stat. You could just use certain equipment to get better drop rates if you need a certain item.

I consider it vital for starters as you need grasses in a dreadful way.
