I think I'd have enjoyed the movie a lot more if they just cut it down by maybe half an hour... 45 minutes... An hour.
I went for a roller coaster ride of amazing special effects, but the coster kept getting stuck on drawn out cheesy dialogue. I want to see the world blow up, Do I really need to know about some guys emotional conflict with his son? And no I don't mean the main character. I mean the jazz guy who's friends with the geologists dad. friend of dad of character is just a bit to extended for anyone to give a damn about.
On another note, why did they release it so early? I get wanting to make it early so no one else beat them to the punch, but I'd have thought they might want to sit on this movie for a while, release it closer to the actual date and REALLY take advantage of the morons.
