GOTY for 2009 is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Game sales count a lot more than review scores. Uncharted 2 would probably be the runnerup for GOTY.

Assassins Creed 2 will be an improvement upon Assassins Creed but no where near GOTY.

If all you're counting is game sales shouldn't Wii Sports be the GotY every year?
