What's going on with VGChartz?

It gets slow when a lot of guests visit the site. When the "Top 10 (blah blah)" stories come out and the site gets a lot of hits, it slows down significantly. Sometimes it's so bad it becomes unusable, and this is on a 3 meg connection.
