Well people expect almost PS2 quality for the PS2.
I don't think wanting PS1 and N64 quality on the DS is asking for too much. Its a very capable piece of hardware and I'd like to better efforts and even more ports of classic games.
And I disagree, the Pokemon games would be acceptable for the N64 and PS1. People bought SNES quality JRPGs for the PS1.
