So after thousands of minutes of discussions, news readings, thoughts battling with my brother and etc, we, as a family (paid by my dad :P), bought a PS3 Slim..... in Hong Kong.
Now as far as I'm concerned HK and Americas share the same Blu Ray Region Codes (Region A). But the thing is we live in Australia and it's Region B so I guess you all know what it means. And I read somewhere on the net a site saying that the package of the blu ray movie itself does not contain information whether it is region free or not.

Oh just a side note: My dad was amazed by how the PS3 can go and browse online: "Oh s**t this thing can go online!?! Can you go onto Youtube!?" However he's born in the 50's so I would say he's quite updated to technology gadgets (for a unwealthy Chinese man lol). And we only have one game so far.... Winning Eleven (PES 2010) hahaha.....
