How can anybody ever regret buying a DS?

It basically has the best handheld library for any genre out of any handheld ever made. Heck, it's got one of the best libraries of any console ever made - only challenged (IMO) by the SNES and PS2 for its breadth and depth.

Hah, you can't be serious? The DS lacks in every genre other than JRPG.

Music Games:

Guitar Hero: On Tour
Rythym Heaven
Elite Beat Agents
Oendan series
Daigasso! Band Brothers (Jam With The Band)

Action Platforming

Three Castlevania games
Contra 4

Platforming

Kirby: Canvas Curse
New Super Mario Bros
Super Mario 64 DS
Sonic Rush (two games)
Mario vs Donkey Kong

Puzzle:

Meteos
Professor Layton Series
Picross
Tetris
Planet Puzzle League
Puzzle Quest
Henry Hatsworth
Peggle: Dual Shot

Simulation:

Nintendogs
Rune Factory Series
Animal Crossing

Strategy:

Advance Wars (two games)
Age of Empires (two games)
Anno: Create A New World
Dragon Quest Wars

The music games are better on consoles, I don't play them there either.

Castlevania isn't for me and Contra 4 is insanely over rated. Huge step down from Contra 3. Metal Slug 7 is good though.

Sonic Rush was solid, not great. The other platformers have been disappointing to me. Get old fast.

I don't care for puzzle games. They only amuse me for a few minutes.

Simulation games... lets move on.

I love real time strategy games like Command & Conquer. None of those are like that are they?

Like I said before. I don't have amazingly high standards. I love the GBA, SNES, Genesis, etc. The DS could deliver games of N64 and PS1 quality, but rarely does.
