No, unfortunately I am in N.A where the game is not out yet. However, if you take a look at some of the reviews that are posted on metacritic: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/eyepet?q=eyepet You will notice that a lot of them are complaining about the same thing. The pet does not recognize a shitload of the commands that it is supposed to. Apparantly they are trying to get more out of the PSEye than it is actually capable of doing. When you are playing, you need perfect lighting in the room. I even read a review where the guy said don't even bother trying to play at night. In another review, I read that you might need to start emptying out furniture from in front of your camera for it to actually work properly. Quote from PSU review: "Your EyePet does some amazing things, but the tech is so inconsistent that you'll want to slap him just as much as stroke him." Quote from Vandal Online: "This is a completely fresh and revolutionary idea, which is going to be talked about in the videogame industry. Unfortunately there are some problems in motion sensing which should have been solved before the final launch." Unfortunately, Eyepet seems like too much of a headache. When I first heard about this game, I was really considering buying it. But after reading a few reviews, it doesn't seem like its worth the investment (because I'd have to buy the PSEye as well). |
72/100 is not a flop.
And it's not that bad of a score.
