Hell yes they are great.
Xenosaga 1 is a 9/10 for me.
Xenosaga 2 is the ugly duckling in this series, for me it's a 5/10
Xenosaga 3 on the other hand is one of the best RPG's I have played for me it's a 9.5/10
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing
