One more thing, if the game is actually good and up to the standarts that PC gamers are expecting, they will buy it.

I can illustrate that on the Dragon Age release, two of my closest friends have both downloaded the torrent version, I didn't even knew it until we spoke about it in the pub, both of them were really impresed with such a good RPG after quiete some time. Two days later I'm ordering 3 Collector's Editions for PC from the UK, since every single PC version in our country was sold out. EA Europe obviously underestimated customer interest. BTW PC vs console versions here is 3:1 sold.

But on the other hand, you have MW2, which is a PC ripoff. Do you think anyone will go and waste full price + Activision added prick bonus cost for 5 hour long campaign? No... They will download it, play the campaign or they won't bother at all. Stupid decision will cost Activision more than 50 milion USD of profit. I believe that more than 2 mil ppl will pirate it before the end of 2009. Don't screw with the PC or the PC will screw with you. And unlike console community, PC gamers can be quiete radical.
