I've downloaded Dragon Age Origins through torrent first, since there was no demo, after I've played the game for a while, I've bought the PC Collectors Edition.
I don't have the time and money to waste on products that might be crap. I want to have a chance to first try the game before making the purchase. Same way I have downloaded torrents of other titles, some caught my attention and those I've bought (Mass Effect and Gears of War of are the most recent). While others did not interested me (Anno 1404, Modern Warfare 2).
You may think that's imoral or whatever crap, but it seems quiete reasonable to me.
