I'm not talking about platform specific, but thats an interesting angle to discuss if you want to. So if you think Halo Reach will outsell it on 360, thats interesting to discuss but not really what I meant.
Are you so sure GTA5 would outsell it including Wii? I dont think the Wii version will sell that much. And MW2 seems to be doubling what GTA4 did. I also think people are getting tired of GTA and that GTA4 was perceived as a let down. OTOH, GTA5 will have more consoles to sell into.
Also, no way MW3 will release on PS4/720. MW is a every 2 year series, and there's no way new consoles will be out in fall of 2011. 2012 is the absolute earliest for next gen HD comsoles and all signs point to 2013 actually imo.
Also, are we really sure all these Wii games are going to outsell COD6? COD6 will sell and sell and sell for the next 2 years. Given the initial shipment was perhaps around 20 million, I could see 25-30 million eventually happening. Of course, that would include the Wii version itself which is kinda not fair when exclusing Wii games lol. But then again the wii version probably wont sell more than a couple million, so if you exclude it you wont affect the numbers too much. But I still think it's fair to count, since we're only looking at games on the HD consoles, we can include the wii version since it's a subset. If that makes sense.
