They all turn 23 over the next few months so it's not that bad. But yeah, they've done their PGCE's and this is their first year of proper teaching, it's so odd to think of. The ones school was on the local news last night too. I might get to lecture University students this year too :-/.

Don't worry about being 21, it's a pretty fun year. You get the best of both worlds, you are given real responsibility for the first time ever and you still get to party.

An as for wasting life, I'm pretty much the definition of wasted. If all goes well I'll be 26 when I leave University. I'll have ridiculous debts to pay off and be much poorer than all my friends at that point.
