Its not, thats why Japanese, Euro and korean car makers have sent the Amercian ones into bancruptcy.

Majority will not sacrafice reliability. 

Last time I checked FORD is doing great now. Sure they had problems but thats due its unions cause in America we treat our employess fairly. But the unions went power crazy and resulted in this.

dude ford isnt in the first three there is not american autos in the first place :s, and like hus said i dont think there were 50% failure on the ps2

50% failure. You have a link for that?? Plus it was free of charge. Unlike the PS2 problems where you needed to use your own money. The PS2 hardware problems were worse than the 360 hardware problems due this.

Ford is doing well. America has an auto in the top 3. Ford is in the top 5.
