| Kenology said: The Wii Japanese market just needs a serious kick in the arse right now. Monster Hunter 3 did that but there was no follow up in time - as Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus probably sold to the existing fanbase initially. |
Crystal Bearers' American success will probably offset its so-so numbers in Japan, although I do agree that the Wii market in Japan seriously needs a jumpstart. This latest mediocre debut needs to provide a wake-up call for Nintendo and its third-party members to shake things up. Yes, MH3 was a hit, but what next?
Tales of Graces -- This is very promising to be a hit. IT's among the top pre-ordered games in Japan, and it'll certainly be a hit.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii -- Absolutely. It's Mario, and Mario is a best-selling franchise in Japan.
Samurai Warriors 3 -- Difficult to say. It HAS jumped up in preorders, but I think it'll be the least successful of the three.
Taiko 2 -- The first one was a hit, but will this do any better?
