Updated the chart in the original post with this weeks numbers. The overall standings remain the same, but this weeks rankings were PS3>Wii> 360.
WiiFit+ became the first game released in this time frame to sell 2 million plus, and the PS3 got its 3rd million seller with Pro Evolution Soccer, while Wi and 360 still just have 1 million + seller each. Next week should be very interesting with the release of Modern Warfare 2, both HD consoles totals will get huge boosts, and since the 360 version is selling better, it may be enough to shorten the gap (or even erase it) with the PS3 if first week sales are something like 5 million 360 3 million PS3. Wii will obviously be left far behind with New Super Mario Bros. data not being in until the following week.
So what do you all think, with the reports of how big Modern Warfare 2 will be, is Wii officially out of this contest, or will NSMB Wii, and the holiday boosts Wii FIt+ and Mario and Sonic will be getting be enough for it to remain competitive?
