Unchated 2 or Modern Warfare 2 ?

LOL....It's the PS3....just watch. I have a very good feeling about this from watching MGS4's results.

Killzone 2 is a better example. The reason MGO didn't quite last was because of the lengthy registration process, lack of trophies, awful survival lag, region restriction, and numerous glitches. The most solid community is SOCOM: Confrontation, believe it or not. We'll see if Uncharted 2 holds out well, because the demo was played like crazy.

 

As for the post before that, I agree that the PS3's strength lies more within SP games as opposed to the 360, which is more online centric (I also own both consoles). But hey, I do still enjoy MGO (while still active, it's starting to get really outdated though), SOCOM, and Uncharted 2. As for Resistance and Killzone, while they're good games, I just prefer Halo, L4D and COD.

 

Something tells me, though, that when MAG drops, that'll be the first huge shooter for the PS3 which could last for a long time, if Uncharted 2 fails to hold out against Modern Warfare 2.

I totally agree. I am just worried about bias in a room where UC2 will have the unfair advantage. Modern Warfare 2 is rocking the foundation where I live. Everyone on facebook is talking about it, everyone at work, school, out going to eat, its crazy. This game is going to last for a long time. I am the type of person who just wants to help people get their moneys worth, thats all so I bring in the pros and cons. Sadly the OP never stated whether he wanted a strong singleplayer or multiplayer experience. He just said holy shit moments. Modern Warfare 2 will give him more of those moments overtime. Uncharted 2 will go down in history as one of the greats, but what holds its greatness back is that it was more of a thrill ride than a true videogame which is starting to get gamers missing the old days of gaming when you made the holy shit moment and not the computer demanding you put  in one button command on time for a cinematic to arise.

 

I hope you're right about MAG, because something tells me if Modern Warfare can outplay Halo 3 on the 360, Modern Warfare 2 will definitely outlast M.A.G. from the very beginning to the very end. Let me know what you think about this.

And as for your last sentence, according to Major Nelson, 2007 and 2008 Halo 3 was always the #1 most played game on Live, with COD4 in #3 in 2007 and #2 in 2008. So I don't quite see how it outplayed Halo 3. But anyways, as for MAG: Zipper Interactive have a very loyal and active fanbase, and if Socom: Confrontation is still alive and healthy with a dedicated fanbase despite the awful start from Slant Six, then I'm pretty confident in my belief that MAG can hold its ground well.
