I saw your post Just_Ben, it's just that everything you mention there has been discussed anyway, save perhaps for this one:

I think what he means by "not sitting in warehouses" is about retailer's warehouses. It makes sense because he's talking about how to distribute Wiis throughout the territories, so that it sells out everywhere and unmet demand is as small as possible (taking into account production limits, of course - and if the stockpiling theory is right, production minus stockpiled amount).

Regarding the "it takes time to ramp up production" argument, as I said above in my reply to KenBan, production has been above 1 million (and apparently increasing) for a long time.

There's more than meets the eye regarding this issue.
