Meh it will never be a "great" game for me. The fact that everyone seems to be giving it a pass on a four hour campaign is mindboggling. I don't care how great it is. They had two years to put together a campaign and even ODST's (which was developed in one year) was long. The days when games would get absolutely thrashed for doing this are gone it seems.

Yeah, that 4 hour campaign which took me 6 hours to complete, and most people more was really only 4 hours, despite what the in game stats say. Of course, we can all forget about the nearly perfectly balanced multiplayer, and addition of the spec ops mode to improve content that you can play with friends locally.

Oh, and as we all know, it is not how much you enjoy a game, but how much you are paying per hour of entertainment. A 10 hour campaign stuffed with loads of filled with a conveluted story is so much better than a 6 hours very tightly paced game. {The story might have benefitted from a tiny bit more explanation}

Please stop pretending like the single player wasn't written off to focus on the multiplayer. Plenty of games thusfar have given us great multiplayer with a longer campaign that has replay value in and of itself. Infinity Ward knows people are buying the game for multiplayer, and so it seems pretty clear that that's where their focus went.
